midas RPC layer fails in history readout

If I keep a history window open for a longer time, I get an mjsonrpc error “http error: readyState: 4, HTTP status: 502 (Proxy Error), method: "hs_read_arraybuffer", params: [object Object], id: arraybuffer”. The mjsonrpc layer should handle 502 proxy errors more gracefully and simply re-send the request that just stopping with a dialog box and block all updating (see attachment).
