Sometimes the "messages" page completely hangs the browser tab. Everything on the page becomes unresponsive, the browser "page reload" button and "cancel page reload" do not work. Only way to recover is close the tab, open a new one. google-chrome "Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit)" on Mac. K.O.

Not sure yet. One thing to check. Write a program to cm_msg() every 1 sec (maybe every 0.5 sec, 2 cm_msg per 1 sec). I suspect the "messages" page goes into an infinite loop loading new messages, without going to sleep. But not sure of this. It could be browser specific. I am not sure if this problem exists with firefox. K.O.
