mergetools: fix meld configuration on windows The previous registry configuration does not work with the latest version of the meld Windows installer. In addition it did not work on x64 versions of windows because the "regkeyalt" config was misspelled.

thgrepo: wrap the unfiltered repo instance Longer term, we need to modify localrepo class itself or add thgrepo object to localrepo object. We shouldn't be changing repo.__class__ this way

mergetools: add Windows support for "meld" There is now a windows installer for meld (https://code.google.com/p/meld-installer/). This patch moves the meld mergetool definition out of the "Linux only diff tools" section and adds the required "regkey" and "regaltkey" entries that will let TortoiseHg find meld on Windows.

fileview: manage configChanged connection in C++ layer to work around crash As AnnotateView somehow becomes zombie after deleteLater(), this change should reduce the risk of "C/C++ object has been deleted" error.

repowidget: manage connection of repository/configChanged signals in C++ layer Thanks to @pyqtSlot, the slot function is exposed to C++ layer and its connection will be managed in Qt/C++ world. Thus, it will be disconnected immediately after the deletion of C++ object. As we use w.deleteLater() and it occasionally generates half-alive object, this change should be good workaround for "C/C++ object has been deleted" error. I have another plan for repositoryDestroyed, so it'…

repowidget: rewrite "custom tool" menu without dynamically-defined function Original implementation keeps cyclic reference to self, which confuses garbage collector. This is also good for Python 2.4, which doesn't provide functools.

repowidget: rewrite "change phase" menu without dynamically-defined function Connecting signal to dynamically-created function increases reference count. In this case, self is referenced by that function, so it blocks RepoWidget from garbage collection.

fileview, shelve: add 'Display the file anyway' link when files or patches are not shown There are several cases in which the selected file (or patch) is not shown on the fileview or on the shelve tool. For example, the file contents are not shown when the file is binary, when it exceeds the maximum diff size or the maximum line length, or a when it is a "large file". This patch adds a 'Display the file anyway' link when the file is not shown for one of the reasons above. When this l…

qtlib: make sure getCurrentUsername() not fall back to system value If not ui.interactive(), ui.username() does not fail even if username is unconfigured. Thus, getCurrentUsername() cannot detect missing username in this case. To avoid this problem, it should check the existence of config or environment variables before calling ui.username(). http://selenic.com/hg/file/5db16424142c/mercurial/ui.py#l394 Alternatively, we can hack ui object to raise util.Abort app…

commit: backout 8c32919e6b19 in favor of getCurrentUsername() (refs #2363) qtlib.getCurrentUsername() does mostly the same thing, but it just goes wrong if not ui.interactve(). We should fix it instead of duplicating the similar check. This should fix #2365, because getCurrentUsername() reads repo.ui.
