Button to show "Current Branch"

Issue #2042 resolved
Anonymous created an issue

The Source Tree GUI for OSX has a really nice feature which allows you to quickly toggle display between All Branches and the Current Branch. This makes it really easy (much much easier than Tortoise) to focus on your current branch from among the tree of all branches. Currently in Tortoise, you have to click the branches drop down and scroll/hunt for your branch in the list, which, when your list of branches is large (as ours is), makes it cumbersome and time consuming to just view your own branch.

I know there are a couple of other requests somewhat similar to this one, but none of them offer this level of simplicity, I don't think.

    Merged to #1927.

    What if the branch list is like the following?

    <current branch name>
    ... others ...

    Even though it requires two taps, you no longer need to scroll down to the current branch.

    repofilter: show current working branch first (closes #2042)

    If you go feature-branch development, there are many short-term branches, which bursts branch combo box. In that case, the current branch will be accessed more often, let's give higher priority to it.
