Issue #3247 duplicate

THG (2.8.1) becomes corrupt on Windows 7

created an issue

I was able to install THG last week on a Windows 7 machine and was able to create and commit files with out any issues.

Today I was able to execute "hg pull --rebase" and "hg push" a number of times, but at some point the hg system on the windows machine started to behave in a strange manner and reported that a number of files that shouldn't have been changed had been.

After poking around found instructions to run thg executable from the command line. It created a dialog box with the following message as well as the directive to file a report to the bug tracker.

** Mercurial version (2.6.2). TortoiseHg version (2.8.1)
** Command:
** CWD: C:\unifiedPlatform\up
** Encoding: cp1252
** Extensions loaded: mercurial_keyring, rebase, extdiff
** Python version: 2.7.3 (default, Apr 10 2012, 23:24:47) [MSC v.1500 64 bit (AMD64)]
** Windows version: sys.getwindowsversion(major=6, minor=1, build=7601, platform=2, service_pack='Service Pack 1')

Are "rebase" and "push" done by TortoiseHg dialog or command-line "hg" ? If the repository was corrupted by command-line "hg", please report to http://bz.selenic.com/

The repository may be recovered by deleting .hg\store\phaseroots file. (backup data first.)
