Issue #528 open

Spelling support

Saulius Gurklys

Hi!

Does QT version of THG support spelling (e.g. commit dialog)?

If not, are there any plans to implement it?

Thanks!

Windows uses the QT version of THG, correct? I think that's right. At least, that's why I'm interested in this issue. I'm a Windows user.

I wonder if it would be possible to use the same spell checker that Pidgin uses?

I suggest using enchant. (Package pyenchant)

    Reasons:

Not sure whether to suggest to check entire blocks of text (as hgspellchecker does it, checker.wordpos is the offset of the error) which splits on numbers (pyenchant issue3) or do it custom as in the examples and projects (or combine it with a custom tokenizer).

Using the same config keys as hgspellcheck could be nice.
