Issue #668 closed

QFont::setPointSize assert fail

Esben Skovenborg
created an issue

I get the following warning when I launch thg from a shell, perform an update-to-revision, and then quit thg. Aside from the error text in the shell everything looks and works fine when doing this operation. This is TortoiseHg ver. 2.0.3 running on Ubuntu 10.10, installed via the PPA.

{{{ $ thg log

    warning messages are a known issue in Qt. See http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-8199

    For more details and how to avoid them in Ubuntu, see http://groups.google.com/group/thg-dev/browse_thread/thread/574c39c5cf604f3b/#7d422f52a4f8b289

    Unfortunately, I have no idea regarding the last three lines:

    QVariantMap DBusMenuExporterDBus::GetProperties(int, const QStringList&): Condition failed: action
    (<unknown>:2460): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid uninstantiatable type `(null)' in cast to `GObject'
    (<unknown>:2460): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_get_data: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

    • changed status to open

    the last two probably came from a GTK app, perhaps gvim?

    We're not doing anything at all with dbus, so that message is probably caused by Ubuntu's Python and/or Qt environment.
