Search feature doesn't work

The search feature either doesn't work or I don't know how to use it. In this pic I use the top search bar to search for copper.

If I go to the gathering log tab for miner, I see there's an entry for copper ore:

How does the search feature work, or how am I supposed to use it? I was expecting it to bring up the page for copper ore.
