Jonathan Vorndamme created an issue 2016-01-12

If i give a not reachable pose to the solver it gets stuck in an endless loop ignoring the time out. I'm using the latest version of trac IK (12.01. 18:00 GMT, master branch) on an ubuntu 14.04 with Indigo installed.

I do this all the time and never have any issues. Can you provide an exact case (urdf, chain, pose, seed) where you have issues?

Perhaps you are sending a very large timeout number? The timeout is expected to be in seconds.

Thank you very much for that answer (the second one solved the problem). I feel really stupid now. To my defence: In the readme the variable is named "timeout_in_ms", which is a little misleading ;-).
