Have phone connection optional

I love the recording feature - a very easy way for me to record videos on the fly within the game. However, since I don't normally connect my phone and the app, I always have an error when playing and using the watch "error...cannot connect to your phone". Could we make this optional? I believe a lot of users use just the recording to PC functionality. Thank you for the app!
