Living Lab: Evaluation
In the Evaluation phase we want to describe possible results from the Experimentation phase and how we can recognize them in the data. Identified issues will go to the next iteration.
What went fine?
--> First result: It basically works! You can give your feedback on hygiene / cleanliness using JustSmile.
We believe that using a feedback system with visual recognition in JustSmile is more comfortable for users, due to no touch of buttons being involved after washing hands. We know we are right when 50 users test our solution and 30 users confirm this.
--> The first hypothesis could be wrong if the data suggests that users do feel more comfortable about not touching the feedback buttons but don‘t feel comfortable about their personal data (facial expression) being sent to the cloud plattform and evaluated. The solution is currently invisible, but there is no manual override or full integrated feedback system in place.
We believe that using a feedback system with visual recognition in JustSmile saves time. We know we are right when 50 users test our solution and 30 users confirm this.
--> The second hypothesis could be wrong wrong if the data suggests that touching a button or giving your facial expression takes the same time.
Plan for the next iteration:
Include a manual override system to cancel feedback process.
Include a LED light or text on the display to give feedback on the system state for user.
Provide feedback about system state for service provider.
Improve feedback procedure to speed up process.
