Avoid frameskipping odd frames

Many games flicker sprites every other frame, ex. receiving damage or highlighting objects. Skipping an odd number of frames (1,3,5...) "misses" the other frame of this flicker. Solution would be to only skip even number frames... Don't know if this is feasible however.
Pros:
- Sprite flickering would work look better
