TimeToSLA and link on a workflow

Issue #34 resolved
QOP Darva created an issue

as my company is using a lot of Jira Project with a lot of workflows, we are forced to maintain and do our big changes on our workflows by using some kind of versions of our workflows.

The version of the workflow is in the name of the workflow :

  • today Project A is using Workflow A v1.0

  • I am working on an improvement of Project A so I work on Workflow A v1.1

TimeToSLA is definning SLAs on a particular workflow : Workflow A v1.0 Tomorrow I'll switch the workflow of the Project A to use Workflow A v1.1

does it mean that I'll have to redo the SLA configuration on the new workflow ? well yes cause TimeToSLA configuration is done on Workflow A v1.0

is there a way to not link workflows and SLA configuration using TimeToSLA ?

    Hi,

I will work on this issue to remove workflow dependency. In the mean time, if you want to move all SLAs from one workflow to another, you can do it easily via database table. All SLAs are stored in table AO_C5D949_TTS_SLA and in the SLA_NAME column you can see workflow name part. If you rename all SLA_NAME columns carefully, that will work.

do you have any visibility when this improvement will be available on the marketplace to be able to test it ?

    Hi,

I am working on a new release which will be live in a week.
Just after this release, I will work on this issue and try to make it ready in a month.

Really sorry that we still could not add this feature. We will add "All workflows" option.

All workflows option was added in version 6.1.0 (for JIRA 7.x), and 5.6.0 (for JIRA 6.x)
