    I tried doing this but I'm getting:

    Andrej, can you give us more context to your problem? I tried looking for "insmod" on the README, but I couldn't find where you got stuck. Anyway, by the output of your dmesg looks like the module is already loaded. Have you tried not including the ".ko" on the module name?

    Hi Alcos, thanks for your response.

    I have a rebranded Clevo P750TM1 and I'm trying to get the module to work. I added Gil's lookup snippet to the source, recompiled and managed to load it into the kernel (the previous problem had to do with a conflicting module that I have since resolved). So the module now loads:

    Another update: the hotkeys are working to change the color of the entire keyboard, which is close enough for my purposes. I would like to know though why the UI and echoing straight to parameters doesn't work.
