I don't know how handy you are but you can add your model into the clevo-xsm-wmi.c file. I did this for my Metabox P65xHP. The models are listed near the end of the file and look like this.

reporter Hey Gez, thanks for your reply! I actually just figured this out yesterday with some help from Metabox support and the Mint forums. You're right that's exactly what I needed to do, and I wrote up some instructions for any future users here.
I was struggling with restoring the state too but as someone pointed out here the readme instructions left out the quotations for the command. Hope it helps :)
