Clevo's Turkish brand Monster support

Hello, I have patched the module to run with Clevo’s turkish brand Monster abra a5 v16.3 which normally does not support linux. Other Monster models are also possible but I just own that model :) (https://www.monsternotebook.com.tr/abra/MONSTER-ABRA-A5-V16-3.html)

I just added dmi product name as you guess. Nothing special.

I wonder, would you prefer to add the patch to your code base. Otherwise I can manage a fork myself under github.

and a question: keyboard backlight is ok, airplane button sends 247 keycode but nothing happens when I press, do you have any suggestions to work on ubuntu 18.04?

Hello I did not fork on github yet and I will not this copy.

I have noticed that they have new keyboard backlit kernel module now which I've found under some forum comments :). https://github.com/tuxedocomputers/tuxedo-keyboard

It works without any change beacuse it just checks the device guid which is same on clevo and monster.

Although I've patched it due to use mode change button (disco,wave etc.) for simple color change (red,yellow etc.) because of my notebook's keyboard is single colored model and does not support animation modes.

May be, It can perfectly fit for your model(three colored keyboards) without any changes!

My dirty patched version is still on my local and I'm planning to upload in few days. I'll write here about updates
