Feature Request: Optimize size of package folders on MDS volume
I'm using MDS to set up installs for Public Computing labs. For the discussion, I have a Base Lab image and then Lab A and B. The Base Lab image goes most places, but Lab A and B needs the Base packages plus some extra packages that are specific to those labs. One of the packages in the Base Lab is a full Adobe Suite install, which is around 20GB.
So with the current set up if I want to put all three workflows on a single volume, I'm looking at a 60GB+ volume just for the Adobe package, because it needs to be duplicated into each workflow.
I'd like to find some way to optimize this so that the Adobe package only needs to be on the volume once to save space. I think the easiest way would be to allow you to add multiple package folders to a particular workflow. That way, for the Lab A workflow I can add the Base Lab package folder and the Lab A package folder and everything will get installed but only be on the volume once.

@davelebbing, let's discuss what it would take to implement in Imagr. Needs to follow sym links or something like that.
