Running scripts that use the computer name

The com.twocanoes.mds.main.sh script names the computer at the very end of it's run. When I add a script that uses the name of the computer to my workflow it runs before MDS names the computer. Having com.twocanoes.mds.main.sh name the computer before the scripts or pkgs run would allow for the use of scripts and pkgs that use the computer name.
