I would really like an option to display logs during packages installation and scripts run at first boot (instead of the Apple logo and %)

Not sure how possible this is given that the installer is in charge at this point. I’ll hold onto this and see if a find a way.

On the black screen with white Apple logo you can use this shortcut : Shift-Control-Option-Command-w to switch on the “install full screen” then you can show live log with command-L
