Connect to wifi before automaton runs scripts
Issue #172
closed
I've been looking to see if there's a way to connect to wifi prior to scripts running through automaton. I've setup a file server but the machines I'm using aren't on our network yet (as we buy them then install clean OS, etc.). It can't mount file server so if there's a way to connect prior to running scripts that would be awesome.

reporter Our usage is connecting to a file server. We’re “deploying” about 100 Macs a day so the less the devices having to connect the better. So external drive or ethernet connecting wouldn’t work for us. I think going the guy scripting route is the best one option. Would it be difficult to setup?

I have seen this done one of two ways:
It is possible use the automaton to use GUI scripting to connect to wifi, but not sure if this is needed. Does 1 or 2 solve the issue?
