I got a Permission denied error when image run the “Preparing macOS install” task.

Test was make with a fresh High Sierra installer.app from the Mac App Store.

Doesn’t work on a 10.12 recovery only.

Works fine on 10.13 (deploy studio netboot)

- changed status to on hold
please check to see what the version of the recovery partition was by running “sw_vers” in Terminal in 10.12 recovery that caused the error.

I got the same error on a 10.14.5 (18F132) recovery partition.

MDS Version 1.8 (15009)

High Sierra Installer 13.6.02 (download on 17 may 2019)
