MDS fails to run from 10.11.x (El Capitan) recovery global name 'volumes' is not defined
Issue #297
on hold
When launching in macOS 10.11.6 recovery I’m getting the error above when using MDS 2.0/Imagr 1.6.0
Launches fine when using Imagr 1.5.6 (I think it was MDS 1.6).

Tested saving to volume on build 20091 and performed as expected. Plugged ssd into a machine booted to 10.11.6 recovery and started Imagr. Imagr launched without errors. Could this be dependent on some criteria of drives connected when Imagr is launched?

Can you try it with MDS 2.0 and provide a screen shot of the error if it still happens?

reporter Sorry it took so long to get back to this, other projects and all…
I just tested with the 2.1 build/Imagr 1.61 and it appears to have resolved the issues from before.

@Dave Lebbing can you set up a 10.11 recovery and see if we can replicate this? Support 10.11 machines is not really needed, but there are a bunch of machines that boot into 10.11 in recovery.
