iMac models: iMac 2019 and iMac late 2012
Recovery: Catalina (internet recovery since apple release catalina)

Can’t process installation, it’s stuck just after executing macdeploystick scripts packages, on the step:

preparing to run macos installer

Fix: Use mojave recovery

How do I select the Mojave recovery instead of Catalina?

You have to reinstall macOS Mojave from USB bootable key.
