Access to Initial MDM Profile Tab

For those of use that already use a MDM service, can you please allow us access to the “Initial MDM profile” tab so that we can use that to create an initial profile without having to use your built in Micro MDM or use Apple’s Server App.

Tim, Lets see if I can explain my thinking on this. First off We use microsoft's inTune for MDM. At this point it is very raw with dealing with macOS. There are a lot of settings that are not available in inTune. They did have the good sense to allow custom profiles. So, how do you make custom profile without learning all of the XML coding that goes into that. I turned to Apple Server Profile Manager. I can’t actually fire up the built in microMDM that is within MDS because of those pesky certificates. My thinking is if I I can get to the initial MDM setting in micromdm without actually starting it up then I could use that to create the custom profiles without needing Apple’s Server Profile Manager. Is that do able???? Best Regards,

so you want to export it and then use it in inTune? How about just using profilecreator? I think I am missing something.

Uhmmmm because I did NOT know about “ProfileCreater”. It does look like it will do the job. I’ll test it out the whenever I’m allowed to return to the office. BUT, it still would be nice to just use MDS for all of my macOS needs. Once you put all of the function of “ProfileCreater” into MDS and then expose that function. Something for you to think about.
