Mount vs Copy DMG

I mentioned this in the mds-dev slack channel, but when you select “macOS installer Disk Image URL”, I think you should be able to mount the OS installer dmg vs copying it locally to speed up the process by a large factor. We do this all the time with our deployment tool and have had no issues.

This had worked in past versions but doesn’t seem to be working for me either. I need to try testing on the latest build, but wanted to just mention this as I had worked with Tim on this in the past.

ah, i remember why i changed this. Imagr had a setting to copy down locally to support services like s3 that didn’t support mounting the disk image. explaining the setting in the UI was hard so i figured copying it down would be fine. Sounds like it isn’t.
