Allow startosinstall admin user password to be entered via prompt

For Big Sur deployments where admin password is required for startosinstall, allow option that technicians are prompted for info vs storing on the drives. Thank you!

added in build 40036 or later. there are 3 ways to provide a user:

1. embed username / password
2. prompt for username / password when running workflow. The username / password is added to a config that is run and deleted after next reboot.
3. run script to determine username / password

Please verify and comment if works as expected.

hi Tim,

Thanks for adding that! In my workflow I checked box “prompt for credentials” and when I try to use 40040 I’m not seeing prompt on FV enabled machine. Workflow starts and then errors on “you can’t save the file items because volume is read only.” This is with 11.3. We aren’t trying to install any packages or do anything beyond wipe machines and load 11.3.
