Shows nothing but "Loading"

Used for a year and a half. Occasionally wouldn't update time in the past few months, but mostly worked. For last month or so though, all it does is display "Loading." Have troubleshot as far as uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling. When I do that, the app's information icon shows up on the home screen, and Simple Digital Clock widget is listed among the widgets. When I put the small widget on the screen it appears to work at first, but will not update time. After a reboot, it goes back to just showing "Loading."
