Couple of issues/remarks - Tamas
Issue #5
resolved
- when raising an issue, the location tab has its text in italian (inserisci una posizione)
- the small pink flag under my profile when you click on an issue says "politician", is it going to be the only title people can use or there will be a list of things (i.e. activist, independent voter, academic we can select from when making a profile?
- cannot click on other people's profiles
- like/dislike votes - I voted David Marrs' test reform first up (went up to 100% from 50%) then I voted it down then back again then down and each time the percentage kept dropping instead of going back to the original 50%. I am wondering if it gives opportunity for exploitation of the system if someone decides to click too many times up and down a thing. Is it possible to limit 1 vote/i.p address or profile? They could change their up or down vote anytime, but it would still count as only one vote in the system.
- main page "what should change/raise an issue" function leads to an internal server error

Recap on these issues:
Point 1: Italian text has been updated
Point 2: I will take a look at making politician/activist/whatever selectable
Point 3: Can now click on other people's profiles from the /accounts/profiles/ page. Will look into this on the issues page
Point 5: Clicking the raise issue button no longer appears to cause an error
-
Update: Point 2: A user can now select if they are a citizen or an activist. Point 3: Can now click through from issue's to the user's profile, depending on the privacy settings of said user.

Can this be split in multiple issues. Please don't bundle multiple issues in the same thread.

Things may have changed in the 5 days since Tamas commented, but I have been doing some testing of my own and found the following relating to his fourth point about votes:
I can only vote an issue up once (as expected).
I can only vote an issue down once (as expected).
Sometimes (but not always?) I can vote down an issue I've already voted up and that results in a 50% ratio/one vote up AND one vote down. I think I would expect it to cancel out the vote up, and there might be some users that would expect it to both cancel out the vote up AND add a vote down (so that the ratio would be back at 0% -see my final comment below). Although, I can see an argument for noting both the vote up and the cancelling vote down for ranking issues across the whole site.
I can't vote down an issue that is at 50% (that I have voted up and then down).
On the other hand, if I vote down an issue and then vote it up, the up vote IS cancelled out.
And, if I vote up an issue that is at 50% (that I have voted up and then down) then then down vote is cancelled out so that I am left with one up vote. But, I can then vote it up again, so I have cast two votes for the same issue (which is not good ;-)). I can then vote it down, once, and this results in a ratio of 66% (2 votes up and 1 down). If I vote up again, the vote down is cancelled out and I'm back to 2 votes up and 0 down.
I think if no votes had been cast either yes or no, I would expect the ratio to be at 50%, as it currently is if I've cast one vote up and then one vote down
Hope that helps Andre, but you're probably just cursing me now :-)
Also, Tamas can you please raise separate issues for different problems in future? It'll make it easier for us to mark them off as fixed. Thanks!
