Inconsistency vs Stock: US Experiments inoperable when shielded

The following US experiment wedges do not function when shielded whereas their Stock counterparts do. While understandable from a ‘animation clipping’ and/or ‘awesome animations deserve to be seen’ PoV, it still means the user risks building a craft that won’t work when finally deployed in space.
