Audio falls out of sync with the picture after several minutes

its driving me insane I cannot figure out what is causing it... after a few minutes on any given channal the audi falls way out of sync with the video.... has anyone else had this issue? Ive tried using an external player, increasing the cache, clearing the cache, switching from stereo to mono... absolutely unviewable
