App wont start up

Hi, i,m very new to this but i have downloaded the stb emu but when its selected in my app menu all i get is a black screen. googleplay store says the device is compatible with the app ? I,m using a ECM MX android box

Did you configured a profile as described in manual https://bitbucket.org/vasilchmax/stb-emulator/wiki/Home ?

After selecting the stb emulator icon my tv screen just goes black , there are no menu`s , at all , just a blank tv nothing to select ! Sorry if i,m been brief but that's all i can describe to you

Connect mouse to box, click on the screen then on-screen buttons should appear. Then find settings button (or click on 3 vertical points on the right side of the title bar and find this button there - depends on the device) and configuration dialog should appears. It's not possible to configure device without mouse for now (in most cases).
