IPTV STB Emulator is the software to emulate MAG 200/250/AuraHD IPTV STB on your Android device.

Instructions

First you should have an account from one of IPTV providers. If you have one you should do next:

1. If you have started emulator the first time, profile creating dialog should appear. If not, open Menu->Settings->Profiles->Add profile.
2. Fill out as much fields as you can. The main are:

• Profile name - name it as you want,
• STB model - select your stb model;
• Portal URL: url address of provider's portal. If you have SetTopBox from your provider you can find this addres in device settings (press setup button while device is loading); It should be either IP-address or domain name (something like iptv.providername.com or providername.com/iptv/, or something else - depends on provider);
• Screen resolution: you should try from the lowest values (720x576) to highest if you don't know which display resolutions your provider supports;
• MAC-address: one of the most important values, because a lot of providers check this value to identify your device. You can find it on the bottom of your device.
• Serial number - on the bottom of the device;
• STB User-Agent: first try to choose most relevant user-agent, like "MAG 250", if doesn't work - try another one;
• Firmware version and revision: left untouched until you know why you need to change it.

You can also turn on UDPXY support.

If you need to enter login/password (or any other text) after loading, you can use keyboard: Menu->Keyboard.

After doing that return to the main window pressing "Back" a few times.

You can change profile (if you have more than one or in case of some errors) from the main menu: Menu->Select profile

Since version 0.2 emulator supports VLC Media Player plugin (ARM v7 only!). At the first start after update you will be asked to install that plugin to support more video formats. After installing select VLC Media Player from Menu->Video Plugin->VLC Media Plugin.

If you refuse to install VLC plugin at the first start you can install it later from Menu->Video Plugin.

If application doesn't work after installing VLC plugin, remove folder StbEmulator from SDCard.
