API - ARTCC Lookup

The old "ARTCC Checker/Lookup" has been deprecated, and now with the new API it is only possible to see controllers in "your" ARTCC. Can the functionality be extended to allow to check the home facility of the user?

In addition, VATSIM and the CID Checker functionality allows for a sub region, which I've noticed VATEUD for example using. Can VATUSA start providing VATSIM with the ARTCC (i.e. SubRegion) so that we could effectively use the VATSIM CID Checker in place of the old ARTCC Checker.
