Email Variables

The variables for the welcome email don't seem to be working, or the instructions are not clear.

I have tried {{$fname} as the example would indicate writes the first name of the user and it did not work. I changed it to {$fname} and that does not work either.

Should be double { and }.. IE, {{$fname}}

Sorry I haven't posted back, I was waiting for somebody to transfer/ join.

I wrote the variable as you described and it isn't working still. I can forward you the welcome email if you'd like.

I made some changes, this should fix it.
