Non standard method of invoking command line arguments

Issue #18 resolved
Gavin Swanson created an issue

Standard command line options use a single dash '-' for single character arguments and a double dash '--' for multi character. Vera's non standard usage of single dash for multi character options is confusing to new users. This is especially true due to the fact that the usage information requires '-help' and does not accept '--help' or '-h' two standard methods of invoking usage.

Typically running a program that requires input with none, will invoke the usage information.
