Issue Description shows wiki language tags after merging an issue.

Yes it is showing wiki markups. In case you configure Jira to use wiki renderer for Description field they are interpreted. Your Jira is configured to use Text renderer instead. Later it may be template based and can be changed.

Merging gives an error "Both the source and the target issues must be editable!"

I am having this same issue. I modified the renederer to use Wiki renderer but it did not fix the description showing as {panel:borderStyle=solid|bgColor=#FFFFCE}h1. Any suggestions. Thanks.
