Versioneye doesn't show the latest version for mockito-core

Issue #345 resolved
Former user created an issue

Mockito is an extreme example. They make releases every two days or more.

In Versioneye the latest version is 2.6.2 (released 2017-01-13 10:57): https://www.versioneye.com/java/org.mockito:mockito-core

But the REAL latest version (for now) is 2.6.8 (released 2017-01-23 14:51): http://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/org/mockito/mockito-core/

How often versioneye update the latest version?

We track all kind of repository servers on a daily basis. For all programming languages we have daily up-to-date meta information. The big exception is Java. Maven central does not really have a public REST API. They publish a Lucene index with all the artefacts and we fetch that index once a day, but Sonatype is updating that index only once a week. If you have good connections to Sonatype you are welcome to ask them to update their public Lucene index once a day ;-)

"but Sonatype is updating that index only once a week" You should open a Ticket on Sonartype (mockito seems a great example, they releases every two days). The current Version on versioneye is still 2.6.2 (6 weeks old) But the current version is now 2.7.11
