Doesn't recognize a higher version with "alpha" in it as a later dependency

It's not really a bug. VersionEye shows you always the newest stable version. And -alpha is not stable.

Sure, alpha isn't stable, so if I had 0.1.6 I wouldn't want VersionEye to tell me it's out of date because I don't have 0.1.7-alpha5, but that's different than VersionEye telling me it's out of date because I don't have 0.1.6 when I have 0.1.7-alpha5. That does seem like a bug to me.
