Email address says it's "already used" when it's not

Hi,
I'm trying to use an email address to sign up to an account to subscribe to notifications and it says the address is already used - it's not (and the forgotten password link sends me nothing to that account). Obviously I don't want to put the email address in the public domain - but what else can I try to resolve this? Do we have to have a certain account level to be able to access any support (apologies, I could see no other way to contact you about this issue except for a bug report).

@geek_caroline Can you send me your email address to reiz [AT] versioneye . com ? I would like to double check. Maybe somebody is using your email address as a secondary email in VersionEye.
