We reaaaaally encountered his age when talking Saturday morning cartoons. He groaned and proceeded to remind me that he was a senior in high school when they were popular. I'm trying to figure out if it's a maturity, generational or societal thing. No one cared that we were genuinely happy. I learned some but some of it just didn't stick. It didn't turn out well. Would the guy be apprehensive about indroducing her to his family and friends. She needed a more equal partnership so she could bring more to the table. I'm actually the more serious one about rules and such. It depends a lot on personal maturity. It's all pretty standard man, you'll have the same relationship drama as any other relationship. Not saying that 23 year old woman dating 32 year old man will - just be aware that she could be a little intimidated by you. It wasn't age related, really. You said you wanted to be more active, remember. The pop culture gap was huge, even though I wasn't your typical 20 yo. I ask because as somebody who married at 25 to a woman I'd been with for ~7 years. We love each other very, very much, but i am feeling we are in different phases of life. Just make sure you know what her plans are. I watched it when I was in grad school. She can make you a better man. Madonna is a "strong female character" with her boytoys, Doug Hutchison is a "pedophile". That means a few things: 1 Her and her friends are likely to be less mature than you. It lasted six years.
I'm going through this right now with my gf. I finally sat him down and told him that he's just going to have to let me learn the hard way. And some younger women, And some etc.
What I mean by that is the experience of living her own life, without the back-up of her parents, or college counselors, or whatever transitional support system she had.
