Allow for horizontal view rotation with the 'back' and 'forward' keys
Issue #243
wontfix
On my Thinkpad, I have a key to the left of the 'up' arrow key, which has a 'back' function. Similarly, to the right, there's one with a 'forward' function. They seem to be mapped to scancodes '0x00a6' and '0x00a7' respectively in my install of KDE Neon.
Please give these keys the same functionality as the 'Q' and 'E' keys have for rotation of the camera.

reporter I'm not sure whether I'm missing something, but I'm wanting to have Q and E and 'back' and 'forward' assigned to their respective functions concurrently, and I can't see a way of doing that.

The key assignment lets you assign any number of keys to a function, and the same key to any number of functions.

We're not going to apply default bindings to hardware-specific special function keys, which might behave in totally other ways or be used in other ways on other hardware.
However, all keys are bindable and you can set the rotation to be operated by those yourself in the controls -> keyboard menu.
