Empty Email Templates

Issue #2 new
Former user created an issue

I'm so excited to have a Jira add on that enables me to modify the email templates. I installed the add on but I don't see the template files, the only items that I see are the just the headings of "HTML Templates", "Text Templates", and "Subject Templates".

Please help me fix this issue.

Jira Server Version: 7.0.0

Thank you, Walter

I'm seeing this as well. When navigating to this menu, on the left-hand side, I only see the "HTML Templates", "Text Templates" and "Subject Templates" which are grey and don't have any actual templates listed under them to edit.Capture.PNG

Would there be anything we could do in the mean time to allow modifications of the emails? Does anyone know what is the path to the files to be modified?

    thanks,

Somebody has to be help me to find the root cause of this issue. In all my tests I am just unable to reproduce this error, unfortunately. Do any of you see any java script errors in browsers or any of the REST calls from the browser returning any error? Anything noticed in JIRA logs while the page is being loaded.

And for @jonas6900 , manual editing is explained at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/customizing-email-content-802592932.html

I am getting the same prob...

The error in the jira logs is

    2017-01-03 13:35:48,916 http-nio-80-exec-22 ERROR Craig.Heighton 815x361x1 vhu0bh [IP ADDRESS REMOVED] /secure/EmailEditor.jspa [i.r.j.p.e.jira.webwork.EmailEditorAction]

I'm not seeing any obvious in an of the rest call...some seem to have empy objects in their response but I am not clear what I am looking for.

I didn't setup our jira instance but it looks like out Jira web app is in the root of D: and the tomcat in a Program Files Atlassian folder on D: as well

if you can point me at something to focus on, I am happy to have a look

I am experiencing the same effect, no templates to choose from! We are using JIRA servicer v6.1 Maybe its because we have an older version of JIRA?
