Cannot Edit or Delete Replies

When a threaded comment is added via “Reply”, that reply cannot be edited or deleted. I only noticed this with the recent Version 1.27.4, released on 2019-12-15.

We are using Jira Version 7.13.0. and Google Chrome Version 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit). This also occurs with Firefox Version 36.0.4. (Both browsers are the current versions, in other words).

I’m attaching a screenshot that shows the “Reply”, once created, cannot be edited or deleted. The Reply turns gray when you hover your mouse over it in an attempt to edit.

I investigated further, and this only seems to happen with Sub-Task issue types. The user can edit threaded comments on Standard Issue Types. I’m not sure if this is working-as-designed in that case. I can’t find anything in the documentation regarding sub-task threaded comment behavior.
