Issue #114
resolved
- Connect the radio to the Mac via serial to USB adapter.
- Set the radio to PACKET12 mode, with the external data band set to B-Band. Set the B band frequency to 144.39.
- In QTH create a new KISS Serial TNC connection.
- Set the port to whatever the serial adapter shows up as ("usbserial-FTC8HWWF" for mine), the device to Generic, and the Baud to 9600.
- Save the new connection and turn it on with TX off.
- Notice that nothing is received and nothing shows up in the log.
- Now turn on TX and send a beacon.
- Notice that nothing is sent, and the following shows up in the log:
17:50:06.700 DEBUG APRSManagerImpl.transmit():147 - Posting packet for transmit
17:50:06.704 DEBUG APRSConnection.didTransmit():171 - Transmitted 6 packets
