have the same issue, edproxy returned -1 message and won't start. will attach zip in a sec.
-
- attached .edproxy.7z
edsm api key deleted.
-
repo owner The problem is with the EDSM local database. You will need to delete the database from <user.dir>/.edproxy/edsm. Once that is done startup Edproxy and it will resync with EDSM. I have a new release coming out soon that hardens the areas around the database to help prevent such corruption.
You mentioned your EDSM API key is deleted. Did you do that, or was it done to you by the defect?
-
I did that, my professional paranoia doesn't let me put those things out in public ;-) I will delete the DB and let you know if it worked.
-
btw. .edproxy/databases/edsm.db, there's no edsm directory there :)
-
Nope that didn't help, still "-1". Now that I think about it, I changed my router firmware before this defect appeared. Perhaps it just needs some ports open or something?
-
btw. it creates new "databases" dir and a 4kb edsm.db inside. Attached.
-
- attached edsm.db

Reinstallation didn't help, so I deleted the .edproxy settings folder in %userprofile% and installed and configured edproxy again. Now its syncing edsm db, we'll see how it fares after that :)
-
How did you go with this?
-
@mwerle just go to your %userprofile% folder and delete .edproxy folder. You will lose settings, but it should start working again. At least it did for me.
- press [Win] + [R]
- type %userprofile% and press [Enter]
- locate and delete .edproxy folder
Works fine since.
-
Ok; thanks for confirming :)

If possible please zip up "<user.dir>/.edproxy" and email it to (or attach to this ticket).
