Browser does not show file content for files in git non-master branches

At least for git repos, if using browse.php and selecting a branch other than master, one can navigate the hierarchy but cannot view file content for most files. I say "most files" because it seems that files at the top level are viewable, but those in subdirectories are not. I am not sure whether this affects hg repos as I don't have access to one that contains multiple branches.

Example:

http://omnios.omniti.com/file.php/core/omnios-build/new.sh?rev=f17f9ed82d1762a8ce8afcdb16c06bde254a34ba&jump=branch%3Aomniti-ms shows the file content
