Will Lunniss repo owner created an issue 2011-12-26

Parse a wiki page for the latest version link and if it is different from the current version, give the user an option to download it via their web browser

Publishing the app on the android market would also solve this problem although I'm not going to do that unless enough people use it

Finished. If you have it enabled (default) you will be notified of updates when starting the app. If you have it enabled (default) you will also be notified of testing updates. If a stable and testing update is available, you are given download links for both. This will allow me to have testing versions for beta versions of the server which introduce new features.
