Device Icons

Got a brilliant idea. To make things more visual.

Devices section can have icons representing the device. Similar to your phone contacts list.

Example for ps3:

[lights][ps3 logo][ps3 profile and ip address]

Or you can remove the seperate triffic lights, and the logos can have traffic light coloured borders

That could be nice. It would probably be easier to have the following generic icons: Games console, set top box/bluray player, tv, phone, tablet, unknown/general

If you can find some which I can use (i.e. free + a licence that allows me to include them), then i'm happy to do that.

I can make my custom icons using photoshop Would you want it square or iPhone style icons? What pixel size would you prefer?

Square (or no fixed border e.g. current media icons) Should look good from 36x36 to128x128 so give me 128 but must be simple so they look good in low res versions

Actually they should look good from 16x16. If you do one first then I can try out the sizes and locations before you do the rest.
