WHAT IS WWQ2?
wwq2 is a fork of aprq2 designed to be minimal and secure. wwq2 also removes old, unpopular features (to help remove the complexity of the code along with complexity of security) of aprq2/quake2 such as CD audio playback, music player control, and Windows support. wwq2 is only as portable as the Xwindows enviroment. Finally, wwq2 is not designed to replace aprq2, but merely improve it without breaking the more-stable aprq2 source tree.
- Secure cl_parse to filter out more commands from the server. (see r1q2 for examples)
- Remove i386 asm: We don't run yesterday's hardware with yesterday's optimizations.
- Compile and run on Solaris [or OpenSolaris]; see if it works on other Unix®/Unix®-likes.
- Shut up C compilers!
