Suggestion: Allow terms to be assigned to multiple domains

Issue #5 resolved
Dennis Mersjann created an issue

Hi guys,

for a large enterprise customer, we are currently evaluating if their current Moodle-based glossary can be replaced through Confluence in combination with your AddOn.

First test imports look very promising - however, we are running into the issue that in Moodle, terms have multiple categories assigned, whilst in the Glossary AddOn, only one Domain can be assigned for each term. Also the workaround of adding terms multiple times and assigning one of the original categories won’t work, as page names are unique on space level.

So to be able to move forward, it would be great if terms could be assigned to multiple domains, and CSV import would support that.

Cheers

Dennis

    Hi,

after enableing the new feature in version 2.4.0 that allows multiple domains, old the term information of old terms cannot bei edited anymore. The edit dialog doesn’t open.

    Creating a new term works.

Is there a migration path for already definied terms when we enable the multiple domain feature?

    Best regards,
    Thorsten
